Privacy notice
What happens to the details you send us, and what you can ask us to do about them. Written to the Protection of Personal Information Act.
What we collect
The enquiry form on this site asks for a parent or guardian name, an email address or phone number, the child’s age or grade, when you would like to start, and anything else you choose to tell us in the message box. Nothing on the form is compulsory except the three fields marked as required, and we do not ask for medical, religious or financial information on it.
If you contact the school by WhatsApp or email instead, we hold whatever you send us in that message.
Why we collect it, and who sees it
We use these details to answer your enquiry: to send the current fee schedule, to tell you what is available in your child’s age group, and to arrange a visit. We do not use them for anything else, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Enquiries go to the school office. The form does not store anything on this website. It is relayed straight to the office mailbox by an email delivery service, which handles the message in transit and does not keep a copy for us.
We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone outside the school except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
TBC The school is confirming how long enquiry correspondence is kept before it is deleted. If your child enrols, the records we keep from that point are the ones an independent school is required to hold.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, and object to us using it. Ask the office and we will do it.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Cookies and this website
This site sets no cookies of its own and does not track you between visits. It has no advertising and no analytics.
The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them. That request tells Google your IP address, as any request to any website does.
The home page shows a Google Map of where the school is. Loading that map makes the same kind of request to Google, and Google may set cookies of its own inside the map. This site cannot read them.
Asking us about your information
Write to the school office and mark it for the attention of the information officer.
